Worship Assistant Online Edition (WAOE) is a companion to the Windows desktop version of Worship Assistant. WAOE allows multiple users to share a single Worship Assistant dataset, access the dataset from any location using a web interface, and then synchronize the data with the desktop version.

With the Online Edition, you can manage your songs, sets, and team members. WAOE features user-level security to protect copyrighted material and to prevent access by unauthorized users. Any number of unique users can be be given access to the online dataset.

Requirements

• Worship Assistant 4.2 or later (requires at least v4.2.2.2)
• A web server or a web hosting service with support for:
  • PHP scripting language (v4.0 or later)
  • MySQL database server (v3.23 or later)

Note: synchronizing your dataset requires that you have remote access to your MySQL database. If you are unsure if you have remote access, please check with your system administrator or web hosting provider.

Basically the steps you need to take are as follows:

1. Download and run the installation program above.
2. Configure the MySQL settings in config.php.
3. Copy the online files to your web server.
4. Run the Online Edition and configure at least one user.
5. Export your data from the desktop version to the online version.
