The Song Manager is where you keep track of all your songs, including their lyrics.
To display the Song Manager, click the Song Manager link in the menu that is displayed at the top of each screen. A list of all the active songs will be displayed.
You can filter the list of songs displayed by choosing the search criteria at the top of the page:
Song # - enter a single song number.
Title - enter a full or partial song title.
Author - enter a full or partial author name.
Key - enter the full key name, or the first letter only.
Theme - enter a full or partial title.
Lyrics - enter a string to search for in the song lyrics.
Active Songs, Inactive Songs - check these boxes to limit the search to active or inactive songs.
Used Between - click the Select button to select a begin date and an end date. Click on an actual date to make your choice and close the popup date selector. Only songs used in worship sets between these dates will be displayed, and the set must have Count in Usage enabled in order for it to be considered in this search. A blank begin date will display all songs used before the end date. Likewise, a blank end date will display all songs used since the begin date.
Sort By - select how you want to songs sorted when displayed.
Click the Search button to display the filtered list of songs. This search criteria will be used until a new criteria is entered, the user logs out, or the session is ended.
To add a new song, click the Add New Song link near the top of the page. To edit a song, click on it's title in the list. To delete a song, click on the Delete link to the right of the song title in the displayed list.
Adding/Editing Songs
The following information can be added or changed when editing a worship song:
When you are done with your changes, click the Update button to save them. To cancel your changes, click any of the links on the menu at the top of the page. To delete the displayed song, click the Delete Song button at the top of the page.
